The bike a real cult: a real object of veneration for aficionados which has again importance in everyday life. With the help of the fact that it’s the eco-friendly mean of transport par excellence, the 2014 bike is beautiful, colourful and signed by a designer, becoming more and more a piece of art. Animus Bike is a bike assembled in the construction site Cantieri Nordest which Lisa and I had the pleasure to admire and try in advance.

In the Animus bikes there are two souls, wood and carbon: the former absorbs impacts, cushions vibrations, it’s light and composed by linear fibres; the latter has an helical disposition of the fibres and suits perfectly the wood. Together they offer a remarkable increase of stability and the possibility of using different types of wood (ash, cedar and mahogany). The frame presents arched lines which take advantage of the flexibility of the shape (the absorption of the disconnections on the road surface) offering a good resistance to torsion.

The real soul of these bikes lies in the passion of the constructor, entirely by hand in Bolzano Vicentino (Vicenza, Italy).

Impossible not considering a beauty with a soul.
