Vicenza is the perfect foothold to reach touristic and beautiful cities like Verona, Dolomites and Venice, of course. Today, our dear friend and contributor Lorenza will take us right there, between calli and campielli, the typical Venetian alleys and small squares.

There’s something magic about Venice… We decided to meet where silence makes noise: we left from Calle Cannaregio, crossed the Guglie Bridge and arrived at our mysterious destination: the Jewish district, where art meets history. In the Ghetto Nuovo (New Ghetto), near the Synagogue, there is the beautiful Gallery of Francoise Calcagno, who’s now showing his sister Laetitia’s exhibition. You can see her works in our gallery above: let these girls enchant you, their pictures enrich a part of Venice which is still not so touristic and therefore more precious.
