Luciano Doria is 21 years old and studies Foreign Languages at the Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. We met thanks to his passion for photography. In fact, he often comes along during my services for the magazines with which I work.
He’d like it were the job of his life. This is what he thinks about it:
To me photography means “drawing with light”…clicking is like opening a window and let the light come in and enlighten the room. That’s why, if possible, I prefer natural light for my pictures because I think it has higher potential. My photos aim to be stolen moments, when time stops to let the picture take shape and dimension. Therefore most of my work consists of pre-shooting research and study, then I let myself be spontaneous during the actual service, without caring too much about formalities, but at the same time respecting my previous decisions.
