photographer by passion
Photography is a form of art that I have always been passionate about: today we are going to meet two real experts in matter, Pietro and Luca Chilesotti, photographer by passion and profession. I left them free to tell their story in two voices in a dialogue parent / child.

Luca: Here we go daddy, you told me so many times about your beginnings but I never get tired of listen to your story.

Pietro: You see Luca, the 80s were perfect to begin to experiment with new forms of expression and new projects and collaborations. I started specializing in still life, which is product shots taken in a studio, but also in the realization of the first issue of Vicenza Oro Magazine.

L: You have made many advertising campaigns at the time ...

P: Henry Cotton's, Dolomite, Sanson, Paluani, Sonus Faber and many others. But I remember especially the atmosphere in Vicenza between the 70s and 80s, a small group of heterogeneous

artists who comes together to excel in various fields. To do a little names: Fabio Santagiuliana, the D'Agostini brothers, Franco Chiani, etc: we were also very good friends..

L: The story that I like most is the 1985 snowfall.

P: The fate and the weather have been agreed for good. I started my career as a fashion photographer , because the French photographer hired for the shooting service, arrived on delay due to the straordinary snowfall, so i start the service after him and i have not stopped since.

This chat will continue of various "episodes" here on DDmag, in the meantime let's enjoy sounds and images of the video that we made behind the scenes of a photo shoot by Studio Chilesotti.
